Winter obedience Session 3 with Tylor Stevens
March 7, 14, 21, 28 | 5 - 7 p.m.

Eight-team maximum (one person and one dog) – teams rotate “floor time” with one team on the floor at a time and remaining students observing/learning. Students will use non-compulsive methods (luring, shaping, molding, capturing) to garner behaviors – use of rewards (food treat/toys), voice, & animated body signaling is prevalent in this class.
Students must bring an ample supply of rewards (treats/toys) that their dog values.
Owners should have a safe, temperature controlled setting for their dog, water/water dish, several treats &/or toys.

Building Your Handling Toolbox Part 2 with Jared Slingerland
March 11 - April 8 (No class April 1) & April 29 - May 30

Continue adding to your handling repertoire! Skills will include sends, discrimination, serpentines, threadles, rear crosses, crosses on the flat, and blended crosses. If the 2025 CPE Nationals are on your horizon, this class will help prepare you and your teammate.

agility Foundations with Jared Slingerland

Interested in trying agility? Give your dog a head start by teaching them 90% of the skills they will need. Topics will include impulse control, mat work, side work, cone/box work, turns on the flat, playing with your dog, recalls, and more! This workshop would be suitable for dogs 6 months old and up looking to start out in agility. Participants should plan to bring two mats (like a crate pad, towel, etc.), 2 high value toys, and many treats with them.

Morning Puppy Class 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Keep the journey going with good puppy manners. Enhance your dog’s good behavior with sits, stay, place, nose touch and stress free leash walking. Suitable for puppies 4 months to 12 months.
